and now it’s STORYTIME . . . TESTIMONIES BY STUDENTS ATTENDING THE BIBLE INSTITUTE OF LOS ANGELES

Last year, realizing that the days are short before the coming of the Lord, I began wondering about my life and how I could make Mj

Looking back over the last six months, and with the question being asked—Why did I enroll in the Bible Institute? —many things are made clear and plain. I recall how con fused and totally uninterested I was in school and in my future. How ever, after a few messages g i v e n directly t owa r d our youth group began to open my eyes and to show me that I must pre pare myself for His service. As the time of high school gradua tion approached, the Lord opened the door and the Bible Institute was pre sented to me. Without much knowledge of the college, I sent for the catalog and began to investigate. With just one drive through the new campus, I was greatly impressed and needed no more encouragement as to which col lege I would attend. Much to my surprise, within three weeks after my first contact with the Bible Institute, I found myself en rolled for the fall semester, thanking the Lord for the interest He. created in me to further my education. It is my complete desire now to learn and to study the Bible so that I can be better prepared to serve Him. The Lord has called me to prepare myself for His ministry and for youth leadership in His appointed place. Al though I am not always as intelligent as I would like to be, with Paul I can say, “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Larry Sears Los Angeles, California at church, the Lord

answer to God’s call for my life. I plan on receiving training in teach ing, study habits, Christian living, spiritual life, leadership, a n d a thorough knowledge of God’s Word. In addition to my education, I would have a Christian atmosphere and fel lowship not often found elsewhere. Al so, a place to go where everyone loves God and is training for His service. Biola is something more than just a college to me. It is a place of Chris tian fellowship and training. It is a place where a person can receive all aspects of Christian living and get a Biblical background. A school which has a Christian faculty, preaches God’s Weird, and helps to train people for Christian service. Biola is also a college which has men and women seeking God’s will for their lives, with one thing in mind, and that is to fulfill God’s commandments and to please Him. It is a college that is turning out ministers, missionaries, S.S. teachers, and many other Christian men and women for the service of the Lord, of which I want to be a part. This is why I enrolled in Biola this semester. Jerry Johnson Lakewood, California
