What was your biggest obstacle in getting your business going? My biggest obstacle was juggling motherhood and a new business. I started my business right before I had my son, who is now 27, and I worried about being able to meet the needs of my clients as well as my son. I did my best and somehow it all worked out! How has Rhonda Allison Cosmeceuticals changed your business? Rhonda Allison is a game changer. The products deliver amazing results, and the education that is provided, is the best in the industry. I love the support and the incredible education team. I can’t imagine my business being as successful without them. What is your favorite spring RA retail product and why? I love Derma-zyme! It’s my favorite go-to product for any time of the year but especially in the spring when we’re just coming out of winter and dry skin is a problem. Derma-zyme exfoliates, reduces inflammation, and brightens any skin condition. What’s the one thing that can instantly make your day better? My day is always better when I have happy clients who reschedule.
What was your biggest obstacle in getting your business going? One of my biggest obstacles to starting my business was finding the right location which is so important and second was getting the finances together for all the start-up expenses. How has RA Skin Care changed your business? Everyone that buys RA gets great results and find that it is affordable. I also love how clean and effective the products are as well. What is your favorite spring RA retail product and why? My favorite is Pro Youth -10 ChronoPeptide A because it tightens and brightens and provides a healthy glow to the skin. What’s the one thing that can instantly make your day better? My day is always better when a happy customer tells me how much they love their results and to know I helped achieve their goal. I love being able to help them fix a skin condition that they were self- conscious about and seeing it boost their confidence. What’s the last thing you read? Diary of a pug (my daughters library book), and information on my new Tixel device. Besides your work, what fills your time? My two children and their activities. I have an 8 year old girl and a 4 year old boy and they keep me very active. Where is the next place you would like to travel to and why? New Zealand. From the photos I’ve seen it looks beautiful and I would love to go hiking there. What’s your favorite… movie? All I get to watch these days are kids shows or movies, so I’m not sure! song? ABC(ghi) by Skema Boy (Christian song, lifts my spirit every time I hear it). food? Chips & Queso Do you have a business/life motto? If you’re comfortable you’re not growing! Opening my own business has helped me grow in so many ways. I always love to learn, which helps me to grow and become a better aesthetician to my clients.
What’s the last thing you read? Horse by Geraldine Brooks…..fab-u-lous!
Besides your work what is fills up your time? Spending time with my family, our cats, our dog, and reading (I’m a big reader). Where is the next place you would like to travel to and why? England, Scotland, and Ireland. My husband is English and I can’t get enough of his country… What’s your favorite… movie? Jerry Maguire – stop laughing LOL! song? Blackbird by the Beatles food? Anything my husband makes (I’ve given up on cooking). Do you have a business/life motto? Stay open to new perspectives and possibilities……and never stop learning.
