Melaleuca’s growth continues to astound me. Over the last 36 years, we have grown from a small operation of just seven employees and eight products to having over 450 products and over 4,000 employees. We have over 1.5 million customers and tens of thousands of families that depend on us for supplemental income. The sun truly never sets on Melaleuca’s operations! It has been my privilege to be at the helm of this great organization since its beginning. I have always considered that a great honor. My role has changed over the years as the company has grown. In the beginning, it was just me, six ladies in the office, and a guy in shipping. Over the years we have added 2 company presidents, 56 vice presidents, and 148 directors to lead and guide our operations in 19 different countries. We have dozens of extremely bright executives with extraordinary capabilities who lead this company. As we have grown, I have consistently delegated more responsibilities and authorities to these great men and women.

One our most talented executives is Jerry Felton. Thirteen years ago, we stole Jerry from UPS where he was their Vice President of Global Sales. For his first three years, Jerry was our Senior Vice President of Sales over the US (that’s the position that Darrin Johnson holds today). Under These are exciting times! We have a very bright future under Jerry’s leadership, and I invite you to join me in congratulating him on this new and very important assignment!” Jerry’s leadership in that position, Melaleuca grew at a very rapid rate. After experiencing the impact of his leadership skills, in August of 2012 I promoted Jerry to Senior Vice President of International Operations, and in 2017 he

was promoted to President of Melaleuca International. During the last ten years, under Jerry Felton’s leadership Melaleuca’s international operations have tripled in size! Jerry’s credentials speak for themselves. He is an exceptionally talented leader and inspires his teams to implement Melaleuca’s principles throughout Melaleuca’s global operations. Jerry is an excellent example of passion, leadership, and innovative thinking. Most importantly, Jerry embodies our mission of enhancing lives. At Convention 2022, I announced that Jerry has been promoted to CEO of Melaleuca. The entire room erupted in applause at that announcement. And for good reason! Those who know Jerry, are keenly aware of the extreme talent that he will bring to this position. With Jerry, our future is in very good hands! Jerry’s energy and his ability to lead with integrity and passion is well known.

Executive Chairman. My new position will allow me to focus on crucial corporate issues, such as long-term corporate strategy, corporate messaging, marketing, national and international economic issues, new product development, etc. It will also allow me to get into the field to meet with Marketing Executives and leaders more often. I have missed being able to do that! These are exciting times! I am excited to work with Jerry in his new role, and I am very excited about our future as we enter this new era. We have a very bright future under Jerry’s leadership, and I invite you to join me in congratulating him on this new and very important assignment!

For thousands of Melaleuca employees and Marketing Executives around the globe, Jerry Felton is a trusted leader, mentor, and friend. Here’s a closer look at our new CEO.

• Born in Casper, Wyoming; lived in multiple states growing up • Married to his wife, Sandra, for 34 years; they have five children • Learned Chinese serving a church mission in Taiwan • Graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in business management and Chinese • Received his MBA from the University of Texas at Austin (still considers himself a Texan) • Spent 17 years climbing the ranks at UPS, one of the largest companies in the world • Started as a District Manager with UPS; then Regional Sales Manager; Director of Asia-Pacific Enterprises; Vice President of Supply Chain Solutions for Europe; the Middle East, Africa, and Asia; and finally Vice President of Global Sales • Has lived all over the world with his family, including Belgium, Hong Kong, and Atlanta • Joined Melaleuca in 2009 as Sr. Vice President of Sales (US and Canadian Marketing Executives still talk about Jerry’s insights, guidance, and coaching during this period) • Named Sr. Vice President of International in 2012 • Promoted to President of Melaleuca International in 2017 • Under Jerry’s leadership, Melaleuca International (18 individual markets) has tripled in size • Jerry is a phenomenal business leader with a long history of proven success and unmistakable results! • One of the very top executive management talents in the world

If there is one thing National Director 2 Sabrina Ellis was most impressed with at Convention 2022, it was the flood of feedback she received from her team. “I had planned to rest after Convention,” says Sabrina, “Instead, I have a Melaleuca Overview this afternoon, Strategy Sessions scheduled for today and tomorrow, and an in-home presentation tonight. The energy couldn't be higher.” A new builder on Sabrina’s team shared an observation that truly sets Melaleuca apart as a company. “At other conventions I’ve attended, the management team doesn’t really interact with the newcomers,” Sabrina relays. “At Melaleuca, the management doesn’t treat a Corporate Director any differently than they treat a Director 2. mother. “I watched both virtual Melaleuca Conventions with Aaron,” Amber says. “I told him, ‘You have everything it takes to become a Senior Director or an Executive Director. I’ve known it since the moment I met you.’” Aaron wasn’t ready at first, but Amber had the wisdom to offer him advice and wait. “We can’t pick the timing for others,” she says. “We can’t lead them before they’re ready. Our job is to just love them and meet them where they’re at, and that time will come.” Eventually the demands of Aaron’s work schedule caused a seismic shift in his thinking. When the moment was right, he was ready for a change. Aaron is now a Senior Director who in turn is mentoring his own business builders. “I just love my team,” Amber says. “Our team is called The Hot Mess Success. New National Director Amber Springer enrolled with Melaleuca just over three years ago and has been hard at work from the beginning. seriously. They hold team Strategy Sessions to show new Members the possibilities with Melaleuca. Inspired by a practice taught by National Director 5 Jen Sebbas, Sarah and her team set a monthly goal for enrollments and keep count in a group chat as they get closer to their goal. “For 2022, the team set a goal to help 222 families every month,” Sarah says. “As a team, we meet on a video call every morning to work on approaches, customer service, following up, and other skills. Every day, team members report any enrollments and count backwards from their goal of 222 to zero. So far, they’ve met their goal every month this year! “As soon as someone is ready to build, we have that Strategy Session, and then we focus on 20 and 5,” she says. “The new business builder identifies 20 friends who would really love to shop here and 5 people they think could be a really great business partner. And we make those approaches right away. That’s a strategy I got from National Director 9 Steve Morgan.” As you can see, Sarah is a student of the business, always learning from those around her. Her ability to be coachable and learn from others’ success has allowed her to develop into a leader who is enhancing lives every step of the way. Raquel & Dennis Jacinto ILLINOIS Melaleuca Gave Me a Second Life

And thanks to the Peak Performance Pack , Dennis has seen several important health markers improve. In 2017, Dennis stopped building his business, although he never stopped using the products. In March 2020, when the world came to a screeching halt, Dennis felt the full impact. “I was in the business of selling frozen foods, and it went down,” he says. “I did not qualify for any of the government stimulus money. I was at rock bottom.” Dennis’s mentors, Executive Directors 9 Eleonor and Luis Navarro, encouraged Dennis to start building a business again. By December 2020, Dennis was a Senior Director. “But our new Directors may not even have a single Marketing Executive in their organizations yet. We’re teaching them the foundational purposes of the daily activities they need to do. We’re diving into how to make effective approaches. Really, our focus is on helping them achieve 20/20 Club. “Making these changes has made a huge difference in our organization,” Breanne concludes. “It’s a major reason why we’ve seen a lot of new Directors developed in the past few months.” Indeed, since January, the Sufrins have helped multiple business builders advance through the Director ranks. They’re especially cheering on Breanne’s good friend and business partner, Senior Director 4 Kimberlee Simko, who has advanced steadily in the past months and is well on her way to Executive Director status! Recharged with the fresh energy and inspiration they took from Convention 2022, Breanne and Michael are firmly on the road to achieving their own big goals—develop more Senior Directors and advance to National Director status. Speaking of being on the road, the Sufrin family has been completely mobile for months now! They’ve been living in a class A motor home, towing a trailer that they’ve converted into an office. They’re working remotely, homeschooling their two children, and building their Melaleuca business wherever their travels take them. It’s a lifestyle and schedule they’ve all had to get used to. They’ve definitely stepped out of their comfort zone! But that has just taught Breanne and Michael more about leadership—and given them the perspective and humility to return to the basics with every family they introduce to Melaleuca. “We just met a couple yesterday,” Breanne says. “They’re really curious about what we are doing. We are going to talk with them again today—and we hope to help them enroll with Melaleuca.”

In January 2022, Breanne had an aha moment that has fundamentally changed how she coaches and mentors her team members. It came during a conversation with Coaching & Leader Development Director Greg Bean. “Greg and I started to analyze how my leadership is being passed down throughout our team,” Breanne says. “As we talked, I realized that our brand-new Directors were getting the same coaching as our Directors 3.” From the outside, that realization doesn’t seem earth shattering. But Breanne immediately saw how coaching her team this way was holding them all back. So she and Michael went to work to make the adjustment. “We started to use different types of coaching for our team members at different statuses,” Breanne says. “We have a group of Marketing Executives who have reached Director 3 status and above, and our coaching now focuses on helping them reach Senior Director. We’re teaching them how to find potential Marketing Executives among the customers they are enrolling. We’re teaching them how to develop leaders.
