Inspired by a practice taught by National Director 5 Jen Sebbas, Sarah and her team set a monthly goal for enrollments and keep count in a group chat as they get closer to their goal. “For 2022, the team set a goal to help 222 families every month,” Sarah says. “As a team, we meet on a video call every morning to work on approaches, customer service, following up, and other skills. Every day, team members report any enrollments and count backwards from their goal of 222 to zero. So far, they’ve met their goal every month this year! “As soon as someone is ready to build, we have that Strategy Session, and then we focus on 20 and 5,” she says. “The new business builder identifies 20 friends who would really love to shop here and 5 people they think could be a really great business partner. And we make those approaches right away. That’s a strategy I got from National Director 9 Steve Morgan.” As you can see, Sarah is a student of the business, always learning from those around her. Her ability to be coachable and learn from others’ success has allowed her to develop into a leader who is enhancing lives every step of the way. Sarah and Josh’s momentum is as strong as ever as they practice the Seven Critical Business-Building Activities every day. While National Director is just around the corner, they have their eyes set on advancing to Corporate Director status. And with their commitment to setting and achieving goals, they’ll reach their goals in no time! LH

As Sarah and Josh celebrate their triple advancement to Executive Directors 9, Sarah takes a moment to think about what their life might look like if they hadn’t found Melaleuca. “I’m almost afraid to go there!” Sarah says. “We were unhappy doing what we were doing, which was working with an MLM. It was a direction we didn’t want to go in. We would be burning the candle at both ends, on a hamster wheel.” When the Rankins look at the trajectory of their future with Melaleuca, they are optimistic. “Melaleuca has given us peace,” Sarah says. “We can build for a lifetime here.” Sarah and her team have laser focus and always strive toward their goals. Melaleuca’s latest corporate-sponsored Fast Track added fuel to their fire and enabled them to build momentum. “We got a lot of team momentum from Fast Track,” she explains. “Everyone is so excited for the trip to Tulum.” While there are always new skills to learn and polish, Sarah has found the most success in focusing on developing Directors.
