IDEAS FOR GREAT
APPROACHES Not sure how to approach first responders on your contact list? Try some of these ideas below! Brittney’s Go-To Approach: “For most first responders, the last two and a half years have been extremely stressful! A lot of them are looking for a solid plan B. I focus on the fact that Melaleuca is another way they can help and serve people. It’s something they can do in the pockets of their day, and it can provide them with a financial cushion and greater flexibility.” Alex’s Go-To Approach: “Being a first responder is a different life. It’s a different schedule, and it can be lonely, so I paint the picture of how Melaleuca plugs you in to a powerful community of people who want more. And then make sure you speak from the heart and stick to the truth because Melaleuca can really offer stability and assurance in both the products and the business opportunity.” Megan’s Go-To Approach: “First responders need simplicity because our lives are often chaotic and uncertain. I tell people that Melaleuca is a nice, streamlined way for me to shop for my family. I tell them, ‘Look, I can show you how to make repeat income in the pockets of your day. Would that help take some stress off your family? I can help you because I know you can do this!’” Charlotte’s Go-To Approach: “We are skeptical, and we can have trust issues, so before you approach an officer, make sure you’ve built a genuine relationship first. It can also be important to mention that Melaleuca as a company is pro-police and that they have products that are American made. Those things make a difference.”
A Financial Cushion—without All the Overtime For many first responders, overtime becomes a way of life. And while it is nice that they have the option to work more hours, many are looking for an alternative. “I’m paid dollar for hour,” Kellen explains. “I need to be at work to get paid that dollar. Melaleuca is different. It allows you to leverage your time in a way I cannot as a first responder. In years past, I was working 100-hour weeks consistently. The huge benefit of Melaleuca is that it has provided an alternative, and that’s a huge blessing because now I can turn down the overtime dial.” For Charlotte, the flexibility was as important as the income. “I already work my full-time police job, and I do security jobs as much as I can, but I needed something more,” she says. “I needed something I could depend on and have a little more control over so that I could still spend time with my daughter. Melaleuca let me do that.” “I didn’t really believe that this could happen for me,” Alex says. “I have created a phenomenal work-from-home repeat income, and it has brought a little bit of stability and comfort to our family. And that’s huge. You can’t really quantify that.” “Melaleuca has given us a sense of home and security,” Megan adds. “As a first responder, there is a constant state of unknown. Melaleuca gives me a chance to help other first responders relieve some of that stress and pressure. That’s a long-term health benefit. It’s a mental health benefit, and it’s better for our relationships.”
