your contact list, keep making approaches, and so on. You’re not going to get a shout-out for just thinking about your business. You have to have actions to share. That’s why the celebration is a catalyst. It motivates the daily efforts to do Critical Activities 1, 2, and 3.” In fact, the name of Jen’s group is rooted in celebration. Jen got the idea from National Director 7 Maria Mosca and gets a lot of good use out of it. At the start of June, for example, the group is named “June 100.” Then every time there’s a new enrollment, the enroller gets to change the name of the group. It becomes “June 99,” “June 98,” and so on. “Every time somebody changes the name of the group, everyone in the group is notified,” Jen says. “And the congratulatory comments start flowing in. That’s so encouraging and belief building for the person who got that enrollment!” But the obvious successes aren’t the only things being celebrated. Even results that seem like failures are celebrated—because the big win isn’t the outcome; it’s the effort put in. “Say there’s a month with not as many enrollments to celebrate,” Jen says. “We’re still celebrating the work.
