We all need to recognize that the choices we make in regard to our diet will have repercussions on our long-term health and well- being. What we eat really does play a role in disease and life expectancy. You can’t turn back the clock, but you can start feeling better today. Even if you’ve spent the last four decades eating margarine with every meal, it’s never too late to change your ways. Even though my father’s passing wasn’t a surprise, that doesn’t mean it didn’t hurt to lose him. If Dad had eaten better, maybe he would still be with us. At the very least, I believe he would have felt a lot better at the end of his life. I encourage everyone to really look at what they put on their plate and ask themselves, “How will this make me feel in 20 years?”
