Full-wavelength photoconversion of CO 2 by colloidal nanocatalysts Byeonghoon Choi 2 and Hyunjoon Song 1 1 Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, 2 Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, South Korea Producing alternative energy from greenhouse gases is a cutting-edge environmental technology. Semiconductor photocatalysts have been intensively studied due to their appropriate properties for solar energy utilization. Our main topic is CO2 photoconversion which convert carbon dioxide into value-added compounds such as methane or carbon monoxide. For performance improvement, we electronically combined two semiconductors to maintain charge separation. We synthesized ZnO/Cu2O, TiO2/Cu2O/Au and g-C3N4/Cu2O nanostructures for high photocatalytic activity under full-wavelength irradiation. Furthermore, for efficient utilization of solar energy, we propose to expand our research area to visible light-responsive photocatalysis and gas-phase photocatalysis. References 1. K. L. Bae et al.
