Other duties

• Deliver support to Student Services and students in-person and by email and telephone during induction and participate in events such as International Student Welcome and rollover sessions for continuing students • Provide advice to EU staff and EU students on their eligibility for Pre-settlement or Settlement status and assist with their application • Represent the University at external practitioner groups for international students, such as the UK Council for International Student Affairs (UKCISA) and Association of International Student Advisers (AISA) • Undertake regular training and continuing professional development through attendance at conferences, peer networks and workshops • Work with the Student Immigration Compliance and Advice, Senior International Student Adviser and International Recruitment Team on initiatives to enhance the international student experience at The University of Law

In addition to the responsibilities listed above, the job holder may be required to perform other duties as assigned by the Head of Student Immigration Compliance and Advice from time to time.

The job holder has a duty to take reasonable care for the health and safety of themselves and of other persons with whom they come into contact at work. The job holder also has a duty to co-operate with the University in complying with any statutory duty or requirement concerning health and safety at work. In particular, they must familiarise themselves with the Health and Safety Policy and its safety and fire procedures.
