SAFETY The safety recommendations are organized by systemic safety countermeasures that are intended to be implemented throughout the entirety of the corridor as well as specific locations. This analysis prioritizes roadway safety for motorists and pedestrians through countermeasures that respond to likely factors associated with the types of frequent crashes and conflicts found along the corridor. The safety recommendations in this section of the analysis were developed using the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) proven safety countermeasures. The map below displays the safety recommendations developed as a part of this analysis for the East Berry Street study area. These recommendations are intended to reduce crashes and improve overall safety in the study area.
