Kaye pays tribute to powerhouse creators who contributed to the music history laid down in this corner of the city. The recording studios that occupied this block from the 1970s through 2018 saw Dionne Warwick, Nirvana, Death Cab for Cutie, and so many more walk through its doors. Their legacy lives on in the streets of Belltown, and Lance Mercer’s photography of their recording sessions is showcased in Kaye’s lobby.
