er operations. So the line becomes blurrier every day. Young: Independents risk their own personal capital. That means their decisions are motivated differently. They are generally more flexible and able to find the markets they serve best. Yes, all sectors of the industry are inter- connected, but independents have a unique perspective. Treviño: The integrated company is like a huge ele- phant. The independent company is more like an ante- lope. It is smaller, but much faster and more agile. And I think that helps us. Yañez: Now, as we look toward the future, how should younger generations continue building what all of you started? Ferrara: I think younger generations already think dif- ferently. They are much more open to collaboration. They grew up in a connected world. For them, sharing informa- tion and networking comes naturally. That is something very positive for the future of the association. Hughes: And technology is going to change every- thing. Automation, artificial intelligence, digital printing. The industry will continue evolving rapidly. But relation- ships will still matter. People still want to do business with people they trust. And that is where AICC continues to have enormous value. Díaz: Yes. You can buy machinery. You can buy tech- nology. But trust and relationships take years to build. And that is what this association has built over 25 years. Yanez: Before we close, I would like each of you to leave one final message for the next generation. Treviño: My advice is simple: participate. Do not just at- tend. Get involved. Ask questions. Share ideas. The more you invest in the association, the more it gives back. Ferrara: Stay curious. Travel. Visit plants. Learn from competitors. Learn from suppliers. Never assume you al- ready know everything. Hughes: Take advantage of every opportunity to con- nect with people. This industry is much smaller than it seems. The relationships you build today may define your future decades from now. Díaz: Do not be afraid to ask for help. One of the great- est strengths of this association is that people genuinely want to help one another succeed. Young: The future of AICC does not belong to my gen- eration anymore. It belongs to yours. And judging by the young people I see here today, the future of AICC Mexico is in very good hands. Yañez: And thank you to everyone who has been part of these first 25 years of AICC Mexico. This association was born from friendship, collaboration, and trust. And I believe those values will continue carrying it forward for many years to come. AICC Mexico was born 25 years ago with a vision: to unite, strengthen, and serve Mexico’s independent corru- gating and converting industry. Today, that vision is more alive than ever.
