MINERAL SILICATE DIFFERANCE

CHEMICAL BONDS Mineral silicate paints and stains penetrate into concrete and masonry and form permanent covalent bonds within the substrate. Literally becoming part of the surface, finishes never lose adhesion. VAPOR PERMEABLE Crystalline nature delivers finishes that are extremely permeable, meaning mineral finishes will never trap moisture vapor inside the building envelope for a healthy moisture balance in historic or new construction. LIGHTFAST PIGMENTS We use only natural mineral pigments that are inert and naturally UV resistant. Mineral colors will not fade, no matter how harsh the exposure— guaranteed. NONCOMBUSTIBLE Mineral finishes are inert crystalline mineral and will not burn. In case of fire, mineral paints have a flame spread and smoke index of zero, adding no fuel or noxious smoke in case of fire. LIGHT REFRACTION The crystalline matte surface of mineral finishes refract light in a unique way. Exterior surfaces remain cooler and ambient light is amplified for brighter interiors and gorgeous exterior colors. MOLD AND ALGAE RESISTANT Mineral pH and fast surface drying characteristics impede bio growth so surfaces naturally stay fresh and clean without addition of pesticides or biocides..
