Sustainability and accreditations We’re driven by our commitment to a sustainable future and the efficient use of water is one of our top priorities. We recognise our responsibility as a leading manufacturer of bathroom products to spearhead the water-saving movement having achieved the target set of reducing our own water consumption by 4% between 2017 and 2020 . We are also devoted to developing products and

Adjustable cartridges Some of our mixers come with adjustable cartridges that limit the maximum heat and flow from the tap, which in turn can save up to 60% waste. Our water- and energy-saving products are marked throughout with these symbols. Water-saving Energy-saving Aerators Aerators sit at the end of taps and add streams of air into the water flow. Water-saving and energy-saving, aerators significantly reduce the amount of water used while maintaining high water pressure. By directing water into one single downward flow, aerators also create a smoother flow and reduce splashing. Our ranges with aerators are marked throughout with the following symbols. Water-saving aerator Swivel aerator Coin-slot aerator Water-saving aerators use significantly less water while maintaining a strong flow of 5 litres per minute. Swivel aerators can easily be angled to reach all corners of the washbasin, allowing you to change the direction of the water flow. Coin slot aerators can be conveniently removed with a coin, making them easy to clean. Water pressures It’s important to understand the water pressure in your plumbing system when choosing your brassware. Whether it’s a gravity, combination boiler, pump assisted or mains high pressure (ask your installer if you’re unsure), knowing your system will help you find the best product. The minimum water pressure requirements for each product are marked in the brochure. Most products will suit any water system, however the high pressure products are designed to work with high pressure systems for maximum pressure. Equally, if you have low water pressure, there are lots of products

We are committed to reducing the use of non-renewable resources in the production process.

technologies that enable our customers to save water in their own homes. From aerators to eco-friendly cartridges, our innovative water-saving features mean you can save water while not compromising on design. European Water Label The European Water Label empowers consumers with important information on the water and energy use of bathroom products. With sustainability at our core, the vast majority of our products fall under the top water consumption band (Class A, using 5 litres or less of water). Unified Water Label Throughout this brochure, VitrA mixers that are certified by the Unified Water Label are indicated by this icon, which can reduce water usage by 60% , even at the lowest consumption rate ( 5 litres/minute). With a heat regulator, flowrate control and an exclusive flow regulator, the basin mixer cartridge allows for additional water and energy savings. Our natural resources can be conserved when we control the amount of water and energy we use.

Blue Life Evolution stems from being adaptable to change. As the climate and the needs of our clients change, our ethos as a company evolves. In 2017 , we initiated Blue Life, our pledge to greener production. Since the Blue Life initiative began, we are now using 35% less water than before and have reduced energy consumption in our ceramic kilns factory by 15% . But this is just the beginning of what we are striving for. We are taking this initiative to our products. Our 2.5/4 ltr WC pan has been engineered to use up to 60% less water per flush than a standard design and our brassware is manufactured with adjustable pins for you to have control over water usage. By choosing a VitrA product, you are contributing to saving the world’s natural resources.

Our pledge to the future Continue the use of renewable resources in the production process. Develop products that promote power and resource conservation. Make significant investments towards boosting eco-efficiency.
