RESIDENTS SPEAK OUT
I’m concerned about the number of people and the thousands of acres of land that are going to be impacted by this project . . . I believe they’re being intentionally deceptive. What they’re not saying is that they’re also going to dig up people’s yards and farms and forest land. There are industrialized parts of Davidson County [Nashville] that would be suitable for this project. It destroys the tranquility of what is a rural county. I’ve been to all the meetings; TVA has done everything they could to not be transparent. — Charles DeMott, farmer
I don’t understand why you picked this spot considering you have this school [Cheatham County Middle School] and a high school, which are tornado shel- ters and [used for] evacuations.
