We source our 100% Arabica beans from renowned coffee regions around the world, masterfully roasting them in small batches to give you a world-class coffee experience in every cup. In the coming months, Mountain Cabin Premium Coffee will introduce a series of limited-time coffees – each with our exclusive Hidden Farms Edition label. With Hidden Farms Edition coffees, you’ll journey to some of the most isolated corners of the globe, where communities have long used their native soil, elevation, and weather to cultivate unique, premium coffee beans. Their farms are small and sustainable, each a reflection of rich, diverse local cultures. The harvests are produced through simple, traditional growing methods. Each Hidden Farms Edition coffee is organic – and only available in small quantities. Hidden Farms Edition coffees will only be available in whole bean, 1 kg bags, and only while supplies last! We are proud to introduce the first Hidden Farms Edition coffee: Thailand. This 100% Arabica coffee is grown at 1 300–1 500 meters above sea level in the northern mountain village of Pang Khon, a small community of just 70 households. Decades ago, the king of Thailand initiated a development program to support coffee farming in the country’s northern regions. For generations since, Pang Khon families have combined their efforts and honed their expertise to produce some of the finest coffee in the world. Almost everyone in Pang Khon participates in harvesting and preparing the precious beans. After hand selecting each coffee cherry, villagers use simple methods – from sun drying to artisanal drum roasting – to reduce unwanted acids and irritants. The result is an aromatic coffee with superior consistency and quality. We are pleased to offer, exclusively to Melaleuca customers, this first installment of our Hidden Farms Edition coffees.
