The U15A VII and U15B VII played a combined thirteen matches and won six. Despite the losses, many of them were very close matches. An example of this can be seen when we narrowly lost by 1 point against Sutton Valence School and by 2 points against King’s Rochester. Throughout the season, all the girls worked hard on their core skills and this was seen with a few impressive results such as a 32-3 win against Kent College, a 26-5 win against Sir Roger Manwood’s and a 21-7 win against Duke of York’s RMS just to mention a few. Many of these girls will challenge for a position in one of the three Senior teams next year where they will need to continue learning at a fast rate as they will be playing against older girls. The U14A VII and U14B VII played a combined twelve matches and won seven. A lot of improvements were made throughout the season across both of these teams. The U14A VII lost the first two matches before then going on to win the next four which was against Sir Roger Manwood’s, Chatham & Clarendon GS, Dane Court GS and Duke of York’s RMS. The most impressive win was our U14A VII beating Chatham & Clarendon GS 31-5 in the local derby. The U14B VII won 75% of their matches which bodes well for next season and many of those girls will certainly push for a place in the A team next year.
VII had their most impressive win against Sir Roger Manwood’s GS winning 34-6. It was great to see so much talent especially as next year they step up to play schools such as The King’s School, Canterbury which will certainly be a challenge. Overall a hugely enjoyable and productive season. Thanks to all the girls and coaches who continued to work hard especially in testing conditions on Newlands Field. With us entering netball competitions in September we hope to build upon an already positive season this year by preparing the girls a little earlier next academic year.

NETBALL SPORT
Overall it was a productive season for all 15 teams where lots of positives were seen across all squads throughout the School. Netball finished with a 57% win percentage which highlights the balance of competitive fixtures for all ages. It is amazing to think that in twelve weeks 88 fixtures were played, 50 of which we won which bodes well for the future. With us scoring 1344 points and conceding 1109 points amongst the whole netball club, there was only 235 points difference across all teams which when broken down means that there was an average of 16 points difference per team which once again shows the competitiveness of the fixture list. The 1st VII had a good season winning seven out of their nine matches with wins against Sir Roger Manwood’s, Beech Grove, Chatham & Clarendon GS, King’s Rochester, Duke of York’s RMS, St Edmund’s and Kent College. 1st VII Captain Grace Patterson was the
standout player however she was well supported by others in the squad. The 1st VII had lots of good wins however the most impressive was beating Kent College by a convincing 18 points. The 2nd VII played eight matches and won four with good wins against Sir Roger Manwood’s, King’s Rochester, Ashford School and Duke of York’s RMS. For what was a reasonably young squad the girls did exceedingly well and should be pleased with their efforts. Many of these girls should push for a place in next years 1st VII. The 3rd VII played six matches and won four with wins against King’s Rochester, Ashford School, Duke of York’s RMS and St Edmund’s. Like the 1st VII and 2nd VII, lots of good netball was played especially with a young squad. An impressive 29-1 victory against King’s Rochester was certainly one of the highlights of the 3rd VII season.
The U13A VII & U13B VII won a combined thirteen out of twenty matches and had wins against Sutton Valence School, Ashford School, King’s Rochester and Northbourne Park School to name a few. The U13A
