Scheduled times for teacher collaboration will continue with a focus on differentiated instruction, progress monitoring, and adjusting instruction to meet the needs of individual students. Teams will include general education teachers, special educators, and specialists. Provide professional development specific to differentiating instruction and the use of UDL practices, including questioning and discussion techniques. Provide professional development specific to literacy instructional practices to include fluency, vocabulary, and writing. Students will engage in grade level thinking tasks, that reflect the Standards of Mathematical Practice, and explain their reasoning, respectfully critique others' solutions, and defend their thought processes in group discussions. Students will construct written responses to math problem clearly communicating their reasoning and justifying their solutions.
