“I find joy in healing the mind, body and spirit of my community by tuning into alignment with my ancestors” Luna’s path into ambassador work is rooted in compassion, cultural understanding, and a deep commitment to supporting Latinx families throughout Indianapolis. Long before becoming an ambassador, they were already a guide for neighbors who needed help navigating language barriers, school systems, transportation challenges, and moments of emotional overwhelm.
Their passion is nurturing families through care and connection. Luna shows up when parents feel stuck, when youth need reassurance, and when elders need someone who understands their cultural and emotional world. They lead with empathy, patience, and a steady presence that helps people feel safe. Their purpose is to build belonging for Latinx families across the city. Luna believes community grows through trust, and their work creates the bridges that help families access resources, understand information, and feel supported in spaces that are not always designed with them in mind
