COMMUNITY AMBASSADOR The Trusted Anchor Archetype: Community Stabilizer and Peace Builder TEDDRICK HARDY NEIGHBORHOOD: HAUGHVILLE “Every day I work to cultivate the kind of community I want my kids to grow up in while evolving into the person I never knew I always needed as a kid. No Day Off.” Teddrick Hardy is a grounded and respected presence in Haughville, known for his calm leadership, steady support, and ability to bring people together when they need it most. From sports activities to community cleanups to yoga and gardening Tedd is known for finding creative ways to maintain connection with his neighbors. His path into ambassador work grew from years of showing up for Haughville natives, advocating for stability, collective action and helping youth and families navigate the daily challenges of life in his neighborhood with or more often without the support of outside resources. His passion is creating safe spaces through connection. As founding member and president of Friends of Belmont Beach, organizing and placemaking are his heart work. Whether he is helping a family through a crisis, checking in on young people hanging out at neighborhood parks, or supporting events that bring the community together, Teddrick leads with patience, honesty, and deep neighborhood loyalty. Tedd’s mantra is “it takes the hood to save the hood...no days off.” His purpose is to help Haughville thrive through presence, listening, and relationship building. He believes that transformation happens through trust, and his work strengthens the bonds that hold the neighborhood together.
