(15%) Management - Deputise in absence of Energy Manager. Project Management of energy reduction initiatives. Responsible for the organisation and delivery of specialised work, to meet departmental objectives. Work with other members of the Energy and Estates teams to deliver department objectives. (5%) Management Reporting – Produce reports for senior management with regard to investment, utilities spending /procurement. (5%) Continuous Improvement - Identify and make recommendations (e.g. in policies, procedures and standards) to contribute to the operational improvement of the department. Improve specialist, technical and professional capability and expertise through appropriate development or professional activity. Legal and regulatory compliance – Key role in ensuring College is compliant with relevant Energy and Environmental legislation. Compliance with ESOS, EUETS, DECs, SECR, EPBD. Assist in developing the College’s EMS and environments aspirations. (5%) External communications - Represent the Department both internally and external including with local and central government bodies. (5%) Other duties – Ensuring accuracy of database, attending various project and engineering meetings, assisting Energy and Environment Officer and Energy Manager when necessary.
