How to set up a group
2. Here you’ll see the groups you are part of and any recent updates from these groups. To create a new group, click the ‘+ Create new group’ button on the left of your screen. 3. Here you can name your group, choose your group’s privacy settings, invite friends, and preview your group’s page.
1. Once on the Facebook home page, click on the ‘Groups’ tab on the left of your screen.
• Public = anyone on Facebook can see the group, who is in the group and any posts in the group. • Private = only members of the group can see details of the group or posts. Members of the group must be accepted into the group by the group admin, who is usually the person or organisation who has set up the account. 4. Once your group is set up, you can write posts, post pictures and create events to help keep your members informed.
