UNDER THE FROZEN MOON The Pre-Prep children really enjoyed their visit to the Gulbenkian Theatre to see a brilliant production called ‘Under the Frozen Moon’ by the Half a String Theatre Company. They were also really lucky to have a visit from the theatre company the week before to give them a little

taster of the production. Year 1 and 2 then enjoyed a puppet workshop where they were able to create their very own puppets. What a fantastic morning.

CHOIR PERFORMANCE FOR MENCAP On Thursday 8 December our Junior Chapel Choir were invited by East Kent Mencap to sing carols at Manston Tesco and help raise vital funds for the charity who work to support people with a learning disability. With many shoppers stopping to join in and donate, the children sang a wide selection of songs including ‘Let it Snow!’, ‘Jingle Bells’, ‘The Twelve days of Christmas’ and ‘Arruru’, a beautiful Mexican lullaby.

CAROL SERVICE This year we were glad to be able to celebrate the end of the Michaelmas Term and begin our Christmas holidays with our Junior School Christmas Chapel service. Due to Covid it had been two years since we all joined together in our beautiful Chapel at Christmas and what a joyous occasion it was. Our soloist this year was Olivia who sung the first verse of ‘Once in Royal David’s City’. Her voice rose through the Chapel and was the perfect way to begin our service. The service was led by our Chaplain, Rev. Goodwin-Hudson, and the choir sang beautifully accompanied by the rest of the Junior School.
