MARS STEAM DAY Another fantastic STEAM Day in the Junior School focused on the theme of ‘Mars’. The Prep children spent the day taking part in a range of activities, such as, designing alien creatures, creating a Rover pickup device and a scavenger hunt to find alien
clues to solve a puzzle. In the Pre-Prep, the children were involved in a variety of exciting activities including moulding aliens, designing, and labelling Mars rovers, writing Mars fact files, making telescopes, finding out about life as an astronaut (including tasting some astronaut
food) and using apps to explore space. What a great day to inspire our future scientists and astronauts.
ANTI RACISM WORKSHOP As part of our bespoke T-EDI programme: Talking Equity Diversity and Inclusion, we were pleased to welcome our Sixth Form prefects who joined our Year 6 pupils to discuss racism, listen to their experiences, and share ideas welcoming diversity here at St Lawrence College.
