PREP SPORTS DAY As always, the annual Junior School Sports Day is one of the highlights of the year. We were fortunate again to be treated to some wonderful weather and the stage was set for an action-packed afternoon. As all the field events take place in the lead up to Sports Day, we had an early idea of the points. Waymouth were just over 30 points ahead of Fiske and Sutton. This year we had not one, not two, but three U11 records broken. Boys Shot Put. Riyon Purja Pun 7.65m (Waymouth) New school record. Previously Christopher Baker (Waymouth) 7.60m 1991 Girls Javelin. Farrah Dickinson 16.40m (Waymouth) New school record. Previously Alisha Udall (Fiske) 14.05m 2011 Girls Long jump Florence Kirkland 3.51m (Fiske) New school record. Previously Suzy Pell (Fiske) 3.49m 1992

On Friday 16 June we saw some incredibly close races and the spectators thoroughly enjoyed themselves. When the final races had finished and all the scores added up the overall winners were Waymouth, followed by Fiske in second and Sutton in third. Waymouth: 551 Fiske: 531 Sutton: 523 Congratulations to our Victor Ludorum Maxwell Mcpherson, Year 6 Sutton, and our Victrix Ludorum Florence Kirkland, Year 6 Fiske.
