LAMDA

The LAMDA exams were held in May during the Summer Term, with many students earning Distinctions in both ‘Speaking in Public’ and ‘The Speaking of Verse and Prose’. The November exams featured many newcomers to LAMDA, who demonstrated commendable commitment and dedication in their initial steps on the LAMDA ladder. Notably, our youngest student achieved a high distinction with a score of 93%. All students passed with excellent marks.

In November, the Junior LAMDA students showcased their talents at the ‘Poetry Recital’ event. Their performances included memorized individual poems and a delightful choral recitation of ‘Nothing Rhymes with Orange’. Their clear diction, expressive facial expressions, and mature composure were impressive. The Spring Term is always a vibrant and busy period for our dedicated LAMDA students. February exams were highly successful, with all students achieving Distinctions in acting, verse and prose, and Public Speaking. Additionally, twenty Junior LAMDA students participated in the Thanet Speech and Drama Festival, enjoying this annual event.
