A History of Success by Ryan Beliveau
Peter Jacobsen brought his love of gardening to Canada from Germany, where he served his apprenticeship, and founded Parkway Farm ‘n Gardens in 1974. With the help of his wife and three children, he grew diverse crops such as field grown pansies, cut delphiniums
and tropicals in a home-built greenhouse, As the business grew, new greenhouses were added, and his son Erik joined the business as general mana- ger.
