Armo Tool, located at Longwoods near Woodhull, was named the winner of the Manufacturer Award at the 2026 Business Achievement Awards, hosted by the London Chamber of Commerce. The award recognizes Armo Tool’s leadership in advanced manufacturing, including the design of complex stamping dies and automated systems for global automotive leaders. We also have a local artist living here in Delaware, on Longwoods near Springer. Donna Adreychuk paints out of her home studio. I have known her for several years and own one of her paintings. She recently exhibited at the Affordable Art Fair in New York, held in March of this year. At the time I checked in on Facebook, she had sold 9 of her 12 paintings on exhibit there. If you wish to buy some of her art, simply check her out on Facebook. She welcomes buyers by appointment only. In a previous article, I reported a parking problem at the local post office on Wellington and York. People were parking their cars immediately out front and across the street all day. This, of course, makes it difficult to get in to pick up your mail. In mid to late May, signs will be posted in front of the post office advising of limited-time parking for mail pickup, and no parking signs will be posted across the street. Bylaw enforcement will occur shortly thereafter, with offenders ticketed. That is it for this month. Cheers,
