Bursary Appeal 2024

Giving back… together

Help us do more We rely on the philanthropic support of our whole community to help fund bursary places, alongside our own financial resources. We now spend 2.5 times as much on means-tested fee support as we did ten years ago – and in the same period now offer nearly six times as many free places.

Could help to fund a bursary recipient’s school lunches.

Please give what you can - together we can make a difference.

“I did say to myself as I walked out the gates back in ‘93, that if I ever get the opportunity I would love to be able to contribute in some small way to make a young boy’s life better and give them an opportunity that I got.” Khalid Talukder OA (1988-93)

Could help to supply four bursary recipients with school uniforms.

£100 a month

Helps subsidise the cost of trips and expeditions for pupils on bursaries.

£750 per year

To mark thirty years since they left Dulwich College, a group of six Old Alleynians from the Class of 1993 decided they wanted to give something back. Together, they have committed to support a pupil joining at 11+ who could not come to the College without a free place. Each is giving in their own way according to their circumstances, spreading the cost over seven years – some with a monthly direct debit.

24 gifts of £1000

They hope to demonstrate the power of collective action – that if many OAs, parents and friends come together they can change someone’s life.

Could fund a full bursary for a boy for one year.

“It’s difficult to sit there and say what a great time I had at Dulwich College and not do something to give someone else a chance!” Amos Dadzie OA (1985-93)
