Wednesday 7.47 a.m. AI is everywhere; there is literally no escape. Either I’m reading about it in industry journals or reading articles generated by it in the business social media. The latter is easy to spot: lots of long words, standard layout and those red crosses and green ticks are real giveaways. Accordingly, the conversations in Swindon before Easter had also revolved around AI.

How do we know that AI elements incorporated in the software being proposed were free of Bias and Hallucination? Will AI exacerbate the errors already existing in our data and processes? As Stephen Klein, the founder of Curiouser. ai, says of AI, “Don’t let Darkness spread at the speed of Light”. Where AI is involved, trust now becomes a selection point.

I had been investigating avenues of certification with quite a bit of success. Options for auditing and certification of HR and related were available, and although they would add a cost and time layer, they would actually speed up the decision process. Most of the shortlist were established integrated software providers, but my wild card ‘best of breed’ proposal involved more than one provider, with
