Christian Reith and William Goodman delightedly discuss the 2026 Railway City Charity Car Show. These friends joined forces last year to create a fundraising event in the community for the STEGH Foundation, simultaneously earning their high school volunteer hours. Before debuting the event in 2025, Christian and William sought financial assistance from family business, Reith and Associates. This dynamic duo surpassed their goal of $25,000 last year, which they have excitedly increased to $30,000 as they diligently prepare for the upcoming return. To this, William beams, “It is rewarding to see all of the support from the community as we build upon the foundation that we started last year.”

St. Thomas local, Christian, describes, “We chose to raise funds for the STEGH Foundation, because it’s more than a hospital to me; it’s where my family, friends and many people in our community rely on care. Supporting STEGH means giving back to a place that has always been there for us.” Meanwhile, London resident, William, offers his background: “I have been involved in other car events across Ontario, though this was a first-time experience last year alongside Christian and in this tight-knit, local community. We have found that people have been very receptive to this event and to our cause – coming together with the shared goal of celebrating the car community and supporting the STEGH Foundation.” Considering where an event such as this could suitably operate, Christian and William are thrilled to once again facilitate the Railway City Charity Car Show at the CASO Station – an aesthetic and spacious venue, which honours the city’s history. The vehicles are staged by Christian and William themselves, who encourage, “Come enjoy, and bring your camera for photos!” Moreover, they are grateful for the collaboration with photographer, Evan Lewis. As these two car enthusiasts reveal, their shared passion stems from childhood and the cherished time spent with their respective fathers. Christian and William have thoroughly enjoyed bringing people together, about which they convey their gratitude for the level of support from local businesses, donors, sponsors, spectators and volunteers, along with the incredible car owners and their captivating cars. The featured cars will be travelling across southern Ontario, which includes participants from Windsor and Toronto. William cheerfully highlights, “We are in awe of how many people want to be involved, with 20 to 25 volunteers currently on board. This year, we are excited to be bringing the same kind of experience as before, now bigger and more refined.”
