Finewebtech of South Korea has reportedly seen a 20 percent increase in production capacity following the installation of its new Nilpeter FA-17.The company has already signed on for two additional Nilpeter FA-Line presses to further expand and streamline the business. Finewebtech was founded in 1987 in the South Ko- rean capital of Seoul.The label and flexible packaging printer primarily deals in cosmetics, household items, foods, pharmaceuticals, and more. In other news, Ivory Coast flexible packaging and label converter Socipack has installed its second Nil- peter 22-inch-wide FA-Line press. Socipack, created in 2016 in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, is currently operating within several plastics segments, including film extrusion, injection, blow molding, and woven sacks. The company was established to pro- duce flexible packaging using a couple of complete CI flexo lines with inline finishing, as well as 5-layer co-extrusion film production machinery.

A fully equipped 8-color Nilpeter FA-6 flexo press was installed in 2017, and immediately after installa- tion, Hassan Abdallah, general manager at Socipack indicated that significant market needs would lead to acquiring a second press in the near future. In 2019 the company invested in the second Nilpeter 22-inch FA-Line 10-color press, increasing its capacity needed to meet the growing demand for labels in this region.Currently, Socipack is running the two Nilpeter lines in three shifts. Jang Tae-Soo, President & CEO, and Lloyd Jang, General Director, Finewebtech Label Solution System, have installed a new Nilpeter FA-17.
