NEW

‘Three warmly evocative recent works… Meyers on particularly dazzling form… This well-performed album is both moving and uplifting, and aptly showcases Daugherty’s imaginative approach to musical storytelling.’ – BBC Music Magazine

Remy Franck’s Journal about Classical Music

‘The excellent interpretations by the London Symphony Orchestra under Rafael Sanz-Espert bring Fritze’s music to life in all its sonority.’ – Pizzicato

‘Armed with the 3,568 pipes of the concert organ

at Nashville’s Laura Turner Concert Hall, the excellent Paul Jacobs gives a delightful performance, vigorously supported by Giancarlo Guerrero’s brightly polished Nashville Symphony, stripped of woodwinds in Parker’s scoring – something that only makes the organ’s tones stand

out with extra clarity.’ – BBC Music Magazine

‘The performance here by Han Chen is fully up to the demands of the piece… dynamic and virtuosic, yet also warm and expressive… Ms Clamagirand plays with a gorgeous tone and seems alert to the many changes of mood in both this concerto and No. 2. Jeter and his players are there with her… an enjoyable album.’ – American Record Guide

‘The players from the two ensembles involved strike me as highly versatile and very comfortable with Ives’s truly unique style… I cannot imagine anybody who appreciates Ives’s music not wanting this!’ – American Record Guide
