Golden Eagles Flight Team The Golden Eagles Flight Team proudly represents Embry-Riddle’s Prescott Campus as its premier national championship team. Each year, the team showcases its skills in regional and national SAFECON competitions organized by the National Intercollegiate Flying Association (NIFA). With a history of over 30 years, the Golden Eagles have solidified their reputation by winning an astounding 38 consecutive regional championships and 16 national titles, demonstrating their unwavering dedication and talent. The team comprises more than 30 students who are passionate about breaking records in flight. These students come from various degree programs, uniting their diverse backgrounds to form a cohesive and highly skilled group. Each member is committed to excelling in competitions and creating a supportive and collaborative environment that enhances everyone’s skills and knowledge. Team members participate in many ground and flight events during competitions, each demanding accuracy and extensive expertise. Beyond this, members engage in regular training sessions, refining their skills through simulated scenarios and hands-on practice. This commitment to excellence extends to their academic pursuits, providing a strong foundation essential for success.
