3. Before switching on the mug press to heat it up, make sure to place an old mug that you can reuse in the press. If the mug has a print on it, cover the print with a piece of copy paper to prevent ink from transferring onto the element.
Please note: that a mug must always be placed in the mug press when it is plugged in and heating up, or when it is not in use. To prevent damage, it is strongly recommended that you unplug the mug press immediately after use. Failure to place a mug in the element while it is heated may result in burning out the element, which is not covered under warranty.
4. Set the correct pressure on the mug press, you will turn the silver knob anticlockwise to increase pressure and clockwise to decrease pressure. It should close firmly on the mug, without forcing it. Make sure the mug handle is in the middle so that it doesn ’ t break when you close the press.
5. After you place a mug inside to heat the press and set the pressure, you can switch on the press. This will be on the main power switch again on the controller.
