“Heaven is under the feet of Mothers.” Mothers are paramount since the time when a new born opens the tiny eyes and begin to feel the fragrance around , which has been the best companion to one’s existence in the womb where the baby punching, opening and closing its mouth, moving its head, and sucking its thumb. Mothers are the very first human, the infant knows when enters the world. Once a year, beyond the borders around the globe, every country celebrates the magnificent jubilation of Mother’s Day to pay homage to the living legends who are no more like unsung heroes. Every nation celebrates in versatile manner to pay tribute to their imperative role in their children’s life. The celebration cannot be comprised of as a religious festive but every religion has bestowed a sacred halo to mothers, The history of celebrating Mother’s Day can be tracked back to the ancient Greek and Roman mythology where the magnanimous festivals were held to pay benevolent commendation in the honor of the mother goddesses Rhea and Cybele. The association that a child develops with the mother can never be parted; from the womb where she keeps her child for nine months through umbilical cord till the time when she gives birth the child but that cord is somewhere deeply woven around her soul and heart that whirls around her entire life in all ups and downs of her life. Napoleon Bonaparte said, In accordance to Napoleon if all the mothers of this world will gather than there will be no war as mothers’ perspective is to look for a peaceful world where their children may live happily, far far away from the scars of war and terrorism. She is enigmatical, appreciative, stern, sentimental, smart and watchful who walks in the long dark nights to embrace her mulling and puking child, singing softly to a restless child in the darkness , remains awake and cautious to save her child stumbling out of the bed, busy to bestow ethereal beauty to her child’s image by magnifying it as she is like the moonlight who changes strident to beauty, transfiguring her child into a joyous stream who learns to go on as a mother’s secret hope outlives her child ever after. A mother’s unconditional love minimizes the agony of misfortunes, never let the monstrous wings of regrets sprang unto her child’s heart rather clasps it gently in loving embrace. She has a fair fashion of her chastening motherhood to foster the moral values into the child. Motherhood is painstaking task but in the eyes of the child ,there cannot be anyone else but ones mother, as its the honest business of a mother's strength, unwavering willingness to always be there, and undeniable. Mother’s presence in a child’s life is like rolling up and rolling down of the colors of rainbow which emerges after every heavy pour down of misfortunes as mother’s love leaves an impression of earnest stability. A mother’s heart may embraces multitude of her child’s failures and shortcomings, she never abandons as she trusts that labor of love cannot be lost; her heart is profound bottomless chasm where there will be always prays and forgiveness. A mother lives her life to remove the thorns out of the path of her children and sow roses for their upcoming life , as times go by turns ,at the threshold of age , the tiny buds metamorphose as fully blown roses as nailing the proverbial fantasy , What you sow so shall you reap. Mothers are reflection of God; they are like that tranquil rain which enriches the deserts and the mountains. Let’s make this Mother’s Day portentous which makes indelible impression to their hearts. "Give me good mothers and I shall give you a great nation!"
