RTI submissions – updated technical specifications 27 March 2017

There has been an update to the Real Time Information RIM (Reference Information Model) artefacts and supporting technical specifications for software developers.

The update published on GOV.Uk includes V1.3 of Guidance to RTI data items from April 2017 . This version includes updates to:

 Data item 146 – comments amended for options B) and C) for clarity and consistency with wording in technical specifications  Data item 58a – comments amended to include guidance relevant to off-payroll working rules.

Updates have also been published on the GOV.UK pages for Real Time Information, Electronic Data Interchange: 2017 to 2018 incoming messages.

Government Gateway Transition and Transformation 28 March 2017

HMRC’s Software Developers Support Team has issued another update for developers on the forthcoming changes to the Government Gateway.

HMRC’s Software Developers Support Team (SDST) has provided an update to the power point presentation on the introduction of the new Transaction Engine, along with a copy of the new Document Submission Protocol (version 1.1) .

After Easter SDST will be publishing a survey to find out how software developers are getting on with their plans for migration and how they are planning to deliver the changes to their customers.
