NE 2025 MONTLUCON Lukasz Kozlarek O n March 15 2025, I had pleasure of participating in the French Bull Terrier Festival - the "Nationale D'Elevage" exhibition, which is the most important event for this breed in France. It was my third exhibition of this rank in France where I had the honor of being a judge. I am very happy that I could have the honor of judging "Nationale D'Elevage" of American Staffordshire Terriers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers and this year - standard Bull Terriers. Participating in the French Nationale D'Elevage is always a pleasure and an excellent opportunity to meet breeders and lovers of the breed. It is also an opportunity to assess the level of development and quality of a given breed. During the exhibition in Montlucon, I judged Bull Terriers and I am very pleased with the quality of the each individual winners. During the final selections I had line up of dogs of the right type, with excellent heads and good anatomy & movement.
The Best of Breed Winner was a brindle female with white markings - YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE TOUCHED BY A MAGIC STAR, who came from Belgium. She is an excellent female with a beautiful, perfectly filled head and excellent temperament. The winner of Best of Opposite Sex was a white, compact male - TIDDLYWINKS OF TESSA'S DREAM. Congratulations to all the winners and exhibitors who entered their dogs in the show in Montlucon. I would also like to thank the CFABT - Bull Terrier Club in France for the invitation and my co-judge - Sophie de Beer (Groovy Little Velvets kennel) for the company and a perfectly spent weekend. It is a pleasure and an honor to take part in such events and spend time together with breeders of one of my favorite breeds - the Bull Terrier ! Merci beaucoup and see you in future on dog shows.
