DIRECTOR – DIAGNOSTIC IMAGING AND PATIENT REGISTRATION

Reporting to the Vice-President, Community Care, Quality and Performance, the Director is accountable for the coordination, delivery and evaluation of diagnostic imaging services and patient registration including quality, and risk management, in harmony with the mission and values of the Hôpital Général de Hawkesbury & District Hospital. The Director is responsible for the management of all aspects of the operations of these two departments ensuring safe, efficient and effective quality patient care and the deployment of human, fiscal and material resources. He/she will ensure the use of best practices and clinical standards, foster effective working and sustainable relationships with employees and medical staff, across the organization. The position requires that you have successfully completed a diploma in radiology, nuclear medicine or ultrasound from an accredited college, or the equivalent and, ideally, a master in business or health management. You also have a minimum of 5 years of recent clinical experience in diagnostic imaging services, with frontline as well as management experience, and a background that demonstrates a series of progressive career moves with increasing responsibility and complexity in the role.
