What is/was Your Biggest Mentor or Inspiration in Your Career?
My biggest inspiration is my family. They push me to continue pursuing my goals and support me at every step. I hope my two boys see their mom working hard in a career she enjoys. I hope to teach them that with a servant’s heart, dedication and willingness to listen/learn anything is possible.That they too can “do something they love and never work a day in their life.”
• 2006: Started working for JQH at the Courtyard by Marriott in Springfield, MO as a Banquet Captain / Restaurant Supervisor. • 2008:Transferred within JQH to Chateau on the Lake in Branson, MO to be an Event Sales Manager specializing in weddings and local/social events. • 2008-2016:Worked as an Event Sales Manager – expanded to also detailing conventions and soliciting small meetings of 25 rooms and under. • 2017:Transitioned into the role of Sales Manager and starting working remotely. My market consisted of associations/government/corporate in the southern US.
