What is/was Your Biggest Mentor or Inspiration in Your Career? My biggest hospitality mentor was probably my first, Dr. Dana Clark with Appalachian State University’s Hospitality Management program. He inspired me to pursue this career path, by sharing his excitement for the industry and by relaying his extensive knowledge, through colorful stories of his working experiences.
Recent Work History…. I have spent the last 8 years of my career working with the Renaissance Charlotte Suites Hotel, now known as our Charlotte Hilton Airport Hotel. Most recently, I served a Sales Manager, handling small groups across all markets with up to 39 rooms on peak. During my tenure with the hotel, I have also acted in roles of Catering Manager, Convention Service Manager and EMM positions.
