Honda 4 Cylinder DART Honda B18 & B20 Cast Aluminum Engine Blocks
Built to withstand the extreme cylinder pressures created by Turbos and NOS. They feature machined for aluminum con- necting rod clearance, oil galley hole moved to accommodate connecting rod clearance, HIP process to increase strength, steel billet main caps with ARP main studs, increased closed deck surface to increase rigidity and improve head gasket sealing and life, ductile iron dry sleeves, large water jackets for increased coolant circulation around cylinder barrels, and machined for piston oil sprayers (not included) to reduce piston temperatures and reduce detonation. Darton MID Series Sleeve Kits The Darton MID (Modular Integrated Deck)Series Sleeve Kits are made from bullet-proof ductile iron
material with a phosphate coating protective barrier aides in the elimination of hot spots in the compression area and resists abrasion from hot, turbulent water created in the water jacket area of the block. The MID series kits improves block strength, cooling, for high boost applications, superior oil and compression control, 130,000 PSI tensile strength for street/ strip applications.
