In physics, not only can Fourier series be used to solve the heat equation in one dimension but in two or three dimensions as well. Similarly, problems associated with a vibrating string can be solved as well. These two types of problems are called boundary value problems, which seek to determine solutions of partial differential equations satisfying certain prescribed conditions called boundary conditions. The use of Fourier series can provide some of these problems a solution. In addition to boundary value problems, Fourier series along with Fourier transform and analysis find their great use in optics, forming Fourier optics which enables people to use a new theory to study light. Besides, Fourier analysis is one of the foundations of wavelet analysis, which has been widely applied to some technology such as signal processing, picture processing, automatic speech recognition and so on.

own Christmas Crackers. The kit contained:

Four types of novelty: toy car, spinning top, magnifying glass and miniature

hair brush

Four different types of joke slip

All the other parts were the same type. The kit contained enough bits for

50 crackers. Can I make each cracker different from all the others?
