Superior Lithographic Invests In Another PPCTS Folder Gluer

Vernon, California based Superior Lithographic reported that it has invested in another PPCTS DGM SMARTFOLD 1100SL folder gluer and IMPACK packer solution. Superior Lithographic chose a PPCTS DGM SMART- FOLD 1100SL ULTRA XL Folder Gluer with DGM Prefeed and an IMPACK VIRTUO auto-packer. The recently com- missioned line will focus on fast job changeover high speed folding and gluing production with minimal labor, thus allowing their current SMARTFOLD 1100SL ULTRA with IMPACK Perpack packer installed in early 2017 to con- centrate on more complex cartons. The PPCTS SMARTFOLD 1100SL ULTRA XL, intro- duced in early 2019, is an extended version of the ULTRA X model. The ULTRA XL is equipped with motorized car- riers for full and sectional job/memory recall that includes machine operational settings and parameters for fast and repeatable changeovers with minimal start-up waste.
