Some photos of solo 508 ‘Odin’. He was found in a garage in Salcombe by Graham Cranford-Smith. I bought it from the builder’s granddaughter Clare Parry in 2020. The hull was stripped and revarnished by Ian Brody (aka ‘Podge’) at his yard in Island Street Salcombe. Additional work to replace the thwart, self bailers and centre board slot gasket was undertaken concurrently by local shipwright M.G. ‘Banger’ Clacy. The mast, boom and foils were all tripped and revarnished by me in our spare bedroom while my wife was away on holiday. Adrian griffin ‘Odin’ will be on display alongside tomorrow’s gillard’s new winder at the dinghy show, farnborough feb 21-22
