We had 699 members and 35 more Solos were registered by June. Falcon won the Inlands (Grafham 107 entries) in ‘Pogs’ but only after some drama. Geoff Carveth defies the odds to win the World Trophy (Plymouth) in Roy Barnes Lovett 3252, built in 1980 and again proving the racing pedigree and longevity of the Lovett. Mitchell completes a four timer of junior titles with just keeble defending the ladies cup. Martin payne finished tenth in ‘winsome’ including a race win, what a legend.
