Mr. Adams has been with Tri-City since 1995. He began his tenure working as an appren ce for the service department where he gained valuable train- ing working on several commercial jobs and related service work. In 2004, Tim became lead es mator to our small projects division and two years later transferred to our Tampa division where he led bids on many landmark pro- jects, including the Tampa Bay History Center and USF Magnolia Hall. Tim was promoted to Senior Preconstruc on Manager shortly a er.

As a Senior Preconstruc on Manager, Tim performs complete es mates on large to complex projects. He is responsible for supervising, direc ng and scheduling es mators for mely and accurate comple on of electrical es - mates. He supervises and coordinates the es ma ng team in the take-off process and performs pre-bid review of all es mates and prepares the scope of work. He is responsible for final nego a ons to secure a contract and/or commitment from clients and for developing and maintaining rela onships with his client base. Tim assists in the development of new es ma ng pro- cedures and is responsible for construc on es mates. He is responsible for performing or approving all calcula ons and electrical designs for design build projects.
