With our custom itineraries we can bring History to life. From studying the rise of the Third Reich and the Cold War in Berlin; the French Revolution in Paris, and the Holocaust in Krakow your itinerary will further develop your students’ understanding of the subject.

BERLIN Students can enjoy learning about the city’s past including World War II, the Holocaust and the fall of the Berlin Wall. Popular visit ideas include The Fuhrer Bunker, where Hitler spent time prior to the end of World War II, The Holocaust Memorial which commemorates the Jewish people murdered during the holocaust and The Wall Museum which documents the history of the Berlin Wall. KRAKOW Explore pre-war history and gain a better understanding of the Holocaust; guaranteed to leave an impact on your students. For history students, the Jewish quarter where Schindler’s List was filmed and a guided excursion to Auschwitz- Birkenau learn about the realities of Nazi occupation. LONDON London provides an opportunity to see some of the world’s best museums and monuments, each telling the story of London’s fascinating past.

MUNICH & NUREMBERG Munich and Nuremberg will deliver the backdrop of modern German culture and language which provide a stark contrast to the historical events which shaped these Bavarian cities. These cities are an ideal destination to study strategic locations of Nazi Germany and the Second World War. NORMANDY With its beautiful coastline and pretty seaside resorts, Normandy is very popular, from Mont St Michel to the D-Day landing beaches and the Peace Museum in Caen, there are plenty of excellent town and city excursions to fill your itinerary. PARIS The birthplace of Revolution, Paris is the perfect destination to learn about the modern nation state. The city has a wealth of historical monuments and landmarks that will give an insight into a pivotal period in European history, giving rise to the motto “Liberty, Equality and Fraternity” which is still so entwined in the ethos of modern-day France. PRAGUE The medieval architecture throughout Prague gives the city its characteristic Bohemian appearance. A trip to Prague gives students the opportunity to study many topics including Nazi occupation and the Holocaust, the Cold War, the collapse of Communism and the Velvet Revolution.
