Academic Officers

• Early College Access Program (ECAP) instructors count as adjuncts; • ECAP courses do not count as clinical/experiential sites; • Full-time instructors who teach courses in another discipline are counted as full-time in their “home” division and adjuncts in the other divisions; o Clinical sites are only counted if the Program Coordinator visits the sites. If faculty visit the site, then the site is not counted. o For example, RN has 10 clinical sites, but faculty who teach the courses visit the site, so they are not counted. • Specialty spaces are defined as “health and science lab rooms, music rooms, computer lab rooms, theater space, and possibly others that the designated coordinator oversees;” o Specialty Spaces must be approved by Academic Affairs. o Program Coordinator must have oversight of the room and not just hold classes or have equipment in the room. • Accreditation/Certification refers to what happened during the previous calendar year and not what is required in general; o A chart is maintained for accreditation/certification visits and scheduled reports Program Coordinator Point Allocations Student Credit Hours <300 = 1 300-999 = 2 Course Registrations <100 = 1
