Office Hours Monday: 8:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. (walk-in basis) Tuesday – Thursday: 8:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. (appointment only) Friday: 10:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (appointment only) Please note the Retention and Registration office will be available on selected Saturdays according to a published schedule. Records Office The Records Office is located in the ASA building. Inquiries and assistance related to the Records Office can be addressed to 240-500-2239 or records@hagerstowncc.edu. The Records Office functions includes the processes of interim and final grading, incomplete grades, academic probations, academic dismissals, academic amnesty appeals, reinstatement appeals, registration appeals, transfer credit evaluations and course substitutions, graduation processing and awarding of degrees, certificates, and letters of recognition. The Records Office also processes enrollment verification and all official transcript requests. Students can request Official transcripts through Parchment. The link for Parchment is found on the Records Office web page. In addition, the Registrar oversees and coordinates with faculty and Division Directors the Credit for Prior Learning process and awarding of credits. The Records Office oversees and houses the Authorization to Release Information (FERPA) form and students wishing to opt out of directory information. The Records Office is able to process walk-in registrations for Workforce Solutions and Continuing Education (Non-Credit) students. WSCE / Non-credit students are also encouraged to register online via “Instant Enrollment”. Continuing Education registration can also be done via phone, mail, or fax. Students can be directed to the WSCE Registration web-page or may call 240-500-2236. The Records Office will provide faculty reminders regarding drop/add dates, and interim and final grading at the beginning of each semester via HCC email. Fletcher Faculty Development Center The Fletcher Center, located in Behavioral Sciences/Humanities Building, room 106 (BSH-106), provides a facility, programs, and staff to support the college’s faculty members in order to maintain a tradition of teaching excellence. For full-time and adjunct faculty members, the Fletcher Center offers a variety of support services, including: • orientation for new instructors;

• consultation, advice, and course observation on request; • professional development workshops throughout the year; • training and support for accessible course resources; • Quality Matters training for online teaching; and • frequently needed forms and answers.

For adjunct instructors, the Fletcher Center offers these additional resources: • a place to prepare for class, grade assignments, or meet with students;
